  • Overview

    RFA (Richard Fleischman & Associates) has a Client Development Coordinator job opening at our Headquarters in NYC. The Client Development Coordinator role will be responsible for servicing existing RFA client accounts while supporting initiatives for on-going business expansion. The ideal candidate will display a high-level of professionalism and sound judgment at all times by providing superior service to our clients. Additionally, the Account Management Specialist will seek out client upselling and cross-selling opportunities in order to continually promote RFA’s suite of IT services and solutions.


    • Assist the Client Development Manager in proactively identifying new business leads and engaging existing clients by utilizing a multi-faceted sales approach
    • Help build and manage existing client accounts by staying abreast of industry trends, competition, and best practices
    • Interact with high-level decision makers as a trusted advisor and industry resource by consistently providing informative and relevant follow-ups
    • Strive to understand overall business and technology client needs in order to successfully address issues or concerns before they occur
    • Support the development of client-specific strategies to identify and align client’s future requirements with RFA product offerings in order to leverage all upselling and cross-selling opportunities
    • Communicate and partner with various internal departments to ensure required resources are available, tasks are completed on time, and associated costs are in line with budgetary restraints
    • Assist in sales presentations to clients by clearly demonstrating and articulating RFA’s expertise in providing value-added, solutions-based strategies tailored to their specific needs.
    • Collaborate across RFA teams to promote outstanding client service and provide client feedback to internal teams as necessary
    • Assist in preparing contractual terms and conditions including pricing, payment terms, and deliverables
    • Maintain client database by entering necessary information (e.g., new business opportunities, sales leads) and updating competitor profiles


    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field required
    • 1-3 years of related sales experience in a consultative, solutions-based environment
    • Ideally, 1+ years of experience in an outside sales or sales support role
    • Impeccable verbal/written communication skills
    • Financial services industry or IT sales experience preferred
    • Ability to display a high-level of professionalism and sound judgment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Strong understanding of IT concepts and terminology
    • Excellent analytical, strategic, and execution-oriented approach
