  • Overview

    Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-11pm


    Under the direct supervision of the NOC Supervisor, this position will provide a high level of incident management support. Working to proactively detect issues in circuits, networking gear, and servers; this position will be responsible for the monitoring of applicable Network Operation Center (NOC) with network management tools, troubleshooting Tier 1-2 support issues, and facilitating communication on issues.


    Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology, communications skills and a technical mind. He/She will excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and have the ability to learn new procedures and systems quickly.


    • Document and qualify the complexity of an issue.
    • Monitor alerts and troubleshoot entry level issues.
    • Handle a certain set of pre-defined troubleshooting tasks.
      • Provided with training and supplemental documentation to assist in performing.
    • Facilities/Environmental dispatches.
    • Communicate with 3rd Parties and Vendors.
    • Escalate/ De-Escalate issues and tracking.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • 1 year of NOC Technician experience or a demonstrated interest in technology.
    • Posses a functioning knowledge of Microsoft Server and Workstation Operating Systems.
    • Posses an understanding of SNMP alerting concepts and mechanisms preferred.
    • Experience with enterprise monitoring systems preferred.
    • Able to stay abreast of changes and updates in relevant technologies.
