  • Overview

    The IT Procumbent Engineer is responsible to manage the activities involving workflows from order processing to delivery for RFA’s clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Review all incoming inquiries from all departments that will be purchasing various products/equipment. Executes day-to-day transactions including Purchase Orders.
    • Manage ticket queue by manually documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems while ensuring all tickets are responded to and closed in a timely manner
    • Interact with RFA employees using clear and concise communication in order to facilitate ticket status updates and product availabilities
    • Work closely with the Procurement team to identify and drive process improvements in daily work flows, and reporting on an ongoing basis and implement changes.
    • Effectively demonstrate a sense of urgency while acting in a professional, calm manner and manage appropriate and realistic expectations to ensure overall client satisfaction.
    • Leverage critical thinking skills to evaluate all possible solutions and use appropriate judgment to apply most effective resolution methodology.
    • Review Space Management and goods flow in the HQ Warehouse

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent level of hands-on experience.
    • 3-5 years of related IT experience with purchasing IT equipment including but not limited to Hardware/Software.
    • Experienced with reviewing / procuring software licensing and procedures.
    • High level of attention to detail including follow up.
    • Hands-on experience in Cisco SmartNet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
    • Impeccable verbal/written communication.  Strong communicator in both verbal and written forms and is equally adept in communicating up and down the organization.
    • Exhibit a high-level of professionalism and sound judgment.
    • Self-starter willing to learn and take initiatives in the department.
    • Experience with ConnectWise or similar ticketing system preferred.
    • Able to lift and move boxes up to 25lbs.
